| Job Description: |
Responsibilities:
- OVERSEEING PLANNING AND DIRECTING MULTI-STORY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT USING ADVANCED SOFTWARE / PLANNING TOOLS like. PROCORE, FILDWIRE.
- Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Overseeing all onsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors and make sure jobs are completed on time and within budget
- Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to workers
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Coordinate with senior management and review the work progress on daily basis
- Plan a project strategy in coordination with the head and must identify and solve unexpected issues and delays. Often, these decisions must be made quickly to meet deadlines.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques and comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and preferably an MS in Structural / Construction Management.
- PMP certification is highly desirable.
- EXPERIENCE USING PROCORE OR SIMILAR INTERACTIVE MANAGEMENT APP/ SOFTWARE IS HIGHLY PREFERABLE.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience.
- Effective communication skills ranging from providing presentations to executives, motivating direct reports, and onsite field presence
- Expert knowledge of constructing buildings, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Excellent time and project management skills
