| Job Description: |
We are currently hiring a Software Development Manager to lead a team of developers to deliver applications in line with business requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This position works within a highly interactive team environment and works closely with both functional and technical staff to manage and provide daily direction to implement solutions to business requirements.
- Leading the development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications
- Managing all the activities of the software development team and set goals for each team member to ensure timely project delivery
- Keep up to date with the latest development software
- Provide guidance to the team and ensure they adhere to development standards
- Ensure proper documentation
- Optimise resources and schedules to ensure that work objectives are met.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years’ experience in commercial software with C# Web and/or Desktop Applications
- At least 5 years’ experience in Oracle and/or MS SQL Database programming
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Very good command of English language
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Experience with Agile/DevOps Development Practices
- Experience with multi-tier architecture, OOP and design patterns
- Willingness to learn & advance in the new technologies
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- A record of successful delivery of software applications as an individual, team leader and/or development manager
- Strong leadership, project management skills (Agile/ SCRUM), time management and problem solving skills.
