Job Description:

Responsibilities

1. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.

2. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.

3. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.

4. Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests.

5. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.

6. Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.

7. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements and skills

1. Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

2. Proven work experience in software quality assurance.

3. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.

4. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test case

5. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing. 6. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

7. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting

8. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

9. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

10. Experience working on HRMS Platforms is a plus
