Job Description:

Position Summary:


This position is responsible for the analyzing AND execution the complexity of Embellishment process as per samples required by S&M. This position is responsible for the sample production of Embellishment (Printing & Embroidery)  and manage the process to reduce cost and make feasibility for bulk Production, ensure to introduce the innovative ways to ease the process by keeping In view the RFT quality concepts; responsible for the development & evaluations of the vendors as per international customers & ILA standards; these activities are carried out in Order to perform the first stage operational activities of any garment within limits of company standards


Job Description:


1. Handling of Quality Issues at Sample Stage



  • Responsible to monitor Embellishment standards & implement quality controls on inhouse & OSP (if any).

  • Ensuring product safety during embellishment process; involve quality team for embellishment testing during sample embellishment operations to avoid any defects.

  • Embellishment of QA/ QC quality standards on floor in coordination with QAD team; problem solving related to quality with CAPA

  • These activities are carried out IN ORDER TO implement Built in Quality (BIQ) system on floor to eliminate & fix quality issues on the spot by following 3 no’s to produce quality product as per customer’s requirement.


2. Assurance to meet the customers’ parameters, sample testing and Lead role in RAM 



  • Ensure the customers’ parameters are met during PD stage and make sure the quality and redoability of the PRINTING & EMBROIDERY techniques during bulk production.

  • Manages the weekly critical path and shares with S&M Team on timely basis to keep them updated regarding the progress

  • Ensure the proper testing (as per customers advise) are followed before RAM.

  • Make sure to share the testing reports during RAM.


3. People Management & EHS Compliance



  • Understands, comprehends and translates Company Vision, Mission and Core Values and guides the subordinates to align their efforts with it;

  • Promotes and ensures promulgation of Equality and Diversity policy;

  • Maintain professional decorum in the department by upholding Uniform behaviors by being the role model;

  • Inculcate the spirit of accountability in the team members and develop sensitivity towards declining unnecessary favors acceptance from any stakeholder (internal or external) to avoid any influence on the business processes & decisions;

  • Enable team members to enhance performance by strictly adhering to training plans and frequent performance dialogue;

  • Set standards and controls to ensure integrity of overall department staff in all dealings; 

  • Identifies training and development requirements of the team in their current roles and complete implementation of IDPs;

  • Ensure team is trained on and adhere to EHS SOPs to avoid injuries and accidents at work place;

  • Supervise the department's daily workflow, assign project workload, and monitor deadlines and budgets;


4. Management Reporting & Special Assignment



  • Prepares, Ensure & submit daily, weekly & monthly reports of Embellishment, capacity planning’s, & Production status for management review.

  • Ensures preparation and management of all relevant documents as per Company policies; 

  • All other assignments given by management.
