Job Description:

Position summary:

This position plays a pivotal role in business growth, as this is leading position in PD garment to develop & execute recipes for garment washing/dyeing to cater the upcoming customer’s demands for garment washing/dyeing. This position will mainly responsible to develop & execute the garment washing/dyeing SOPs which can be replicated in bulk production. These activities are carried out WITH the objective to ensure effective garment washing /dyeing process in sample and in bulk WITHIN the limits of guidelines issued by valued customers, by making sure ILA internal policies and procedures.

1. Develop & execute garment washing/dyeing recipes

  • Ensure to develop & execute garment washing/dyeing recipes at Inhouse facility & OSP;
  • Capable of finalizing the garment washing/dyeing time, temperature & Machine
  • Ensure the availability of appropriate Men & Machinery to complete the required task.
  • Make sure to execute the samples as per customers requirements.
  • Hands in finalizing the garment washing/dyeing route /time for bulk.
  • Able to help/support bulk production when they are face any hurdle in bulk execution.

2. Execution of Washes/Dyeing & Innovative techniques

  • Capability of developing various techniques to execute different Washes/dyeing at Inhouse facility & OSP.
  • By using different Softeners, enzyme, stones, High end distressed look, vintage dirty look
  • Ensure New trend detailing Like, natural crumple, crushing, different tacking and tying, staining darning, PP spraying in multi area of garments.
  • Capable of completing homework at PD stage before giving go ahead for bulk.

3. RAM Meeting

  • Able to perform special assignments & Leading RAM 
  • Enough capable to efficiently work on special assignments from Management and lead PD in RAM meeting.
  • Capable to guide Bulk production about different garment washing dyeing techniques without any additional equipment/cost etc.

People Management & EHS Compliance

  • Understands, comprehends and translates Company Vision, Mission and Core Values and guides the subordinates to align their efforts with it;
  • Promotes and ensures promulgation of Equality and Diversity policy;
  • Maintain professional decorum in the department by upholding Uniform behaviors by being the role model;
  • Inculcate the spirit of accountability in the team members and develop sensitivity towards declining unnecessary favors acceptance from any stakeholder (internal or external) to avoid any influence on the business processes & decisions;
  • Enable team members to enhance performance by strictly adhering to training plans and frequent performance dialogue;
  • Set standards and controls to ensure integrity of overall department staff in all dealings; 
  • Identifies training and development requirements of the team in their current roles and complete implementation of IDPs;
  • Ensure team is trained on and adhere to EHS SOPs to avoid injuries and accidents at work place;
  • Supervise the department's daily workflow, assign project workload, and monitor deadlines and budgets;

1. Management Reporting & Special Assignment

  • Prepares, Ensure & submit daily, weekly & monthly reports of Embellishment, capacity planning’s, & Production status for management review.
  • Ensures preparation and management of all relevant documents as per Company policies; 

All other assignments given by management.
