As a WordPress developer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites, themes, and plugins.
- Customizing and configuring WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Collaborating with designers, content creators, and other developers to ensure smooth website development and implementation.
- Troubleshooting and resolving website issues, including identifying and fixing bugs, compatibility issues, and performance optimization.
- Implementing security measures to protect websites against vulnerabilities and ensuring data integrity.
- Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and WordPress updates to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
- Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the website's functionality, responsiveness, and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Assisting in website migration, domain setup, and server configuration as needed.
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients or team members when necessary.
- Documenting processes, code, and changes for future reference and team collaboration.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a WordPress developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Extensive knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile optimization.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
