| Job Description: |
This position makes sure the quality of cutting panels, quality of shapes, and specs of cut parts as per quality requirements by looking after Fabric Cutting QC and Bundle Audit. The activities are carried out with the objective of making sure the availability & induction of good quality bundles for sewing along with 100% cut parts within the limits of specified processes, SOPs, defined roles and responsibilities, and customer requirements.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Implementation of QC Procedures and Systems at Cutting and Bundle Audit:
- Make sure all the relevant procedures and systems on the working section i.e. inline cutting quality control, bundle audit, and ensuring pre-requisites and requirements for starting the cutting process are fulfilled along with the display of all required documents, standards, mock-ups, and STD cards.
- Cross-verification of all received standards/reports after receiving their authenticity/approval status.
- Making sure that the execution team is well versed with standard operating procedures and trained periodically.
Continuous Monitoring of KPIs for Improvement of Product Quality:
- Make sure the process KPIs i.e. cutting in line, bundle audit and critical issues review with relevant teams, problem-solving for improvement in KPIs and reduction in rejections.
- Communication of the same KPIs on a frequent basis to all the relevant teams.
Implementation of PP Meeting and Cutting go ahead Activities:
- To continually improve the Production Quality by initiating floor meetings with TLs for proper guidance & feedback via involving all relevant stakeholders i.e. Production, Industrial Engineering, Machine Maintenance, and trail run teams.
- Making sure adoption and implementation of CTQs / special instructions throughout the cutting process as documented in PP Minutes / FMEAs / MCPs.
Prerequisites to be Ensured Before Cutting Process Execution:
- To verify the issued fabric with its approval status according to the Fabric Cutting plan and to make sure of the availability of approved PP Sample from PPC before initiating cutting.
- Ensuring the shade of fabric is cut according to shade card, band & continuity received.
Prerequisites to be Ensured Before Cutting Process Execution:
- Making sure to report any nonconformity to the relevant functional specialist of QC to avoid any issues.
- Making sure preparation and managing of all relevant documents as per company policies and proper record keeping of reports & PP samples.
