As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) , you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our organization's systems and applications. You will work closely with the development team to design, build, and maintain highly available systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, design and maintain software applications to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the code meets the quality standards.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with emerging trends in software development.
• Participate in software architecture and design discussions.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
• Use Postman or similar tools to test API endpoints and troubleshoot issues.
• Communicate with the client/user to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues or errors and providing technical support to them.

Skills & Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years of experience in PHP and JavaScript/Typescript development (mandatory), as well as Laravel development and NextJS/React knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software or a related field
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing platforms (preferably: AWS)
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (preferably: AWS EBL, Code Pipelines, Bitbucket)
• Troubleshooting skills & familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Sentry)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent communication skills as have to provide Technical Support to client or end users and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

NOTE:

• Its Karachi based on-site role
• Fixed 9 hours shift timings in between 3pm - 3am (Monday to Friday).
