Job brief

Through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the company, the quality assurance representative makes sure the website is operationally sound and in conformance with an organization’s standards.                                   

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing the website and posted content this includes:

• Checking the content/website  for broken links,
• Missing content, e.g. images, missing meta
• Checking the spelling and grammar of content
• Check  the content for browser compatibility
• Verify that applications are functioning correctly
• Verify that legal and regulatory guidelines are being adhered
• Also able to verify that pages conform to your organization’s Web Accessibility standard
• Check that the Website Design standard is maintained
• Should be able to suggest and use tools for automation where necessary.
• Write supporting and technical documentation and checklists.

Requirement

• Minimum BS/BA degree with strong quality assurance experience: ideally has worked in a quality assurance team for 3+ years.
• Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; great interpersonal skills, a great listener, a persuasive and passionate communicator.
• Action-oriented and innovative approach to quality assurance.
• Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed.
• Can pay great attention to details.
• Must have a good understanding of tools like Xenu, HTTrack.
•  Ability to work under pressure and minimal supervision
