Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality software
- Magento Template Editing/customization
- Best practice development and deployment
- Live platform support, maintenance and monitoring
- Internal support and bug fixing for existing codebase
- Co-ordination of development resources
- SQL report creation for senior management Knowledge and Experience:
- Strong experience in Magento Enterprise Development
- Good experience in MVC and object orientated PHP
- HTML & CSS incl. responsive techniques
- JavaScript frameworks incl. Prototype, jQueryQunit, angular, backbone, etc.
- LAMP or LEMP server administration incl. performance tuning
- A confident approach to best practice for Magneto and PHP development
- Research and documentation skills
- Integration with 3rd parties such as shipping providers, payment gateways and marketing/CRM systems
- Database design and maintenance skills in MySQL
- Scrum, Agile, TDD and CI
- Experience of on-boarding, mentoring and team leading
- Exposure to high volume e-commerce and dealing with spikes in traffic
- HTML & CSS incl. responsive techniques
