The Role:

Home Shopping Network is seeking a Product Manager to create innovative products and engaging eCommerce experiences for consumers. As part of our team, you will be a thought leader and will play a key role in driving innovation throughout HSN.

• Lead, mentor and guide with a group of talented designers, data scientists, and engineers
• Develop new and enhance existing products
• Identify strategic opportunities to transform our consumer-end Web and Mobile product experience
• Identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering to define and execute strategy
• Work collaboratively with partners in the organization to define priorities, plan projects, and design approaches
• Demonstrate thought leadership by contributing subject matter expertise in the areas of design, storytelling, interaction design, visual design, user research and user behavior
• Demonstrate strong product instincts, technical knowledge, and obsession for the consumer to create and drive the roadmap for our products
• Use data and deep customer insights to pose and answer key questions, and drive product vision and strategy
• Own the entire design and development process, and manage projects end-to-end
• Demonstrate effective collaboration in a matrixed, cross-functional teaM

Job Specifications

• Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of work experience with at least one year in the capacity of a product manager or related
• In-depth knowledge of the web, software, and smartphones
• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• Detail orientation and good organizational skills
• Know how to take ideas, define products and ship features
• Keen on building delightful experiences, have an eye for detail and a real passion for understanding customers along with prioritizing their needs
• Skilled at design process and facilitation
• Experience building client facing control panels, dashboard and/or commerce/classified products, and knowledge of eCommerce portals
• Experience with managing products for B2B clients
• Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing
