About the School NUST Institute of Information Technology (SEECS) was launched on self-finance basis in April 1999 as a constituent college of NUST. The institute has achieved remarkable success and is recognized today as a prestigious centre of excellence in academics and research. Although it was originally started as the IT wing of National University of Sciences and Technology, Currently SEECS also runs undergraduate programs in telecommunication and electronics engineering. The number of students is continuously on the rise and is expected to grow even beyond its current figure of over 1500. By the grace of the Almighty, the institute has made laudable progress and is acclaimed both nationally and internationally for its credentials in research in the realm of cutting edge technologies. School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS) is an evolved and consummate form of NUST Institute of Information Technology, with its celebrated abbreviated title SEECS. SEECS offers doctorate, postgraduate, undergraduate, and certificate level programs that owe their emergence to the relentlessly growing demand of professionals with expertise in Information Technology. These programs have been planned to offer a blend of computers, communication technologies and other information retrieving/processing tools in order to provide the youth with the practicable skills to enter the world of opportunities and capitalize on the huge IT market of the 21 st century. SEECS continuously seeks to stay in forefront as a centre of academic and research excellence. Academics @ SEECS SEECS is known for its exclusive academic environment and dynamism to embody the best in engineering education. All its undergraduate and graduate programs have evolved as a result of pragmatic research so as to educate and groom the enrolled students in the best possible manner in their respective engineering disciplines. All activities are designed with clear and well-defined objectives.
